AQ Dermastamp Now only £360!

AQ Microneedling and Growth factor

Growth Factor Induced Therapy™ is the topical delivery system of growth factors to the skin using a dermastamp. The AQ DermaStamp is a tool that introduces vertical microscopic channels into the skin by using micro-fine needles that enhances the penetration of therapeutic active ingredients into the skin. By introducing these channels into the skin it aids in delivering products that help to achieve optimum results from topical application of growth factors.

The AQ DermaStamp in conduction with the AQ Recovery will intensify the benefits and enhance the penetration of growth factors and other skin renewing/therapeutic ingredients into the dermis, so that patients will see faster, more dramatic results than when using the serum alone. Results have shown effective improvement in skin texture, acne, lightening hyper-pigmented skin, and reducing scar tissues & fine lines by stimulating the skin to produce new collagen formation, thus revealing a fresher, younger, and more healthy looking skin.

Treatment Time from 20 minutes.

Spray Tan Skin Preparation

A St Tropez Spray Tan lasts between three and five days. Follow the steps below to get the best results from your treatment;

  • If you need to wax or shave, make sure this is completed at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
  • The evening before your treatment, exfoliate your entire body with a body scrub. Pay special attention to dry areas of your body such as hands, elbows, knees and feet.
  • Before your spray tan, ensure that your skin is free from any self tan, perfume, deodorant and any oils.
  • Wear dark, loose fitting clothing with dark coloured underwear. The guide colour may stain light hair, man-made fibres and wool. (We provide paper knickers.)

Post-Tanning

  • Do not shower or bathe for a minimum of 4 hours after your treatment.
  • Avoid any activity which may cause perspiration for at least 12 hours after the treatment.
  • The guide colour can be left on overnight although it may transfer onto bed linen. It will wash out of cotton, but not so easily from man-made fibres or wool.
  • Apply a moisturiser, without any perfumes in to prolong tan for an extra 3 days.
  • Exfoliate your skin with St. Tropez Body Polish every 2-3 days to ensure even fading.
  • After showering pat the skin dry rather than rubbing
  • Avoid swimming pools as chlorine can bleach the tan

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy

Removing Blemishes with Cryotherapy

How does cryotherapy work?

The CryoPen™ emits a fine jet of nitrous oxide under high pressure, which allows the aesthetician to work with millimetre precision.

The tissue is destroyed by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, thereby destroying the cell.

It is an incredibly accurate and practical method for removal of skin imperfections.

Cosmetic procedures such as removal of skin-tags and warts are no longer being treated by many doctors on the NHS.

With the CryoPen™ you can now have these treatments here at Dermacare Salon.

Microblading Before and After Images

Microblading, also referred to as Microstrokes, diamond blading or eyebrow embroidery is a type of semi permanent makeup technique applied without using a machine. Instead of a machine a hand held tool, similar to a pencil is used that replaceable, disposable blades comprised of many small needles are attached. The microblading hand held tool is not electric and the hair strokes are drawn in by hand in the same way you would use a pencil.

The blade is up to three times thinner than some of the thinner needle choices for permanent makeup.

The first microblading techniques appeared in Asia many years ago. The techniques have since improved over time as increasingly thinner needles were used. More realistic hair stroke methods were developed over time creating 3D & 6D realism hair strokes that framed the face.

How to Treat Milia – Video

Milia

Milia are small, hard white bumps under the surface of the skin commonly known as milk spots. They are common in all ages and both sexes, especially among young babies.

They most often arise on the face, and are particularly prominent around the eyes on the eyelids and cheeks, but they may occur elsewhere.

Milia is caused by trapped dead skin cells (keratin) in your skin clogging up the sweat ducts.

Milia tend to occur after trauma like a rash due to allergic reactions and irritation from harsh products. After an injury, burn or blistering of the skin, the number of skin cells trapped under the skin’s surface can increase.

Another important factor which can cause milia is using face creams which are too rich thus preventing natural exfoliation from occurring. Sun damage is another contributing factor.

Although they are harmless, many people with milia would prefer to remove them.

They can sometimes clear up by themselves without treatment, but with adults they can be stubborn to clear, lasting for a few weeks or persist for months or sometimes longer!

Treatment:

We can treat them with advanced electrolysis to give a safe, fast and effective removal starting from £40.

However whatever you do, do not squeeze or try to remove it yourself like a spot as you will cause more harm.

Using regular exfoliating ingredients in your daily skincare regime like salicylic acid, glycolic acid or Retinol will help prevent milia from occurring and in some cases will get rid of them.

Tips:

Remember regular exfoliation and sunscreen will help prevent milia from occurring.

You should be using an eye cream that is light enough to penetrate easily into your eye area. If you think your eye cream is too rich, switch to an eye gel instead.
