eDS™Skin Rejuvenation Medical Dermaroller skin needling is an established clinical procedure used as a key treatment for:
• Acne scars
• Sun damaged & ageing skin
• Facial and décolleté lines and wrinkles
• Stretch marks
Genuine Dermaroller Therapy™ offers amazing results without the inconvenient ‘down time’ that comes with more aggressive Laser treatments and medium and deep Chemical Peels. And because it stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself without adding foreign substances to the body or taking anything away, Genuine Dermaroller Therapy™ is a natural process which has an excellent safety profile when used by trained medical aesthetic practitioners. Due to its notable safety profile, Genuine Dermaroller Therapy™ is suitable for use on darker skins and for use during the summer months when other treatments are more risky due to the increased UV sensitivity they can induce. The treatment is fantastic for the repair of acne scars, for the regeneration of the face, neck, décolleté and the back of the hands and for the treatment of stretch marks on the body.
A procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating SMOOTHER, BRIGHTER, YOUNGER and healthier looking skin.

eDS™Skin Rejuvenation The Procedure
Your practitioner will carry out the eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation procedure using the eDermastamp™ medical device to produce thousands of micro-medical needle columns in the skin. Each column will penetrate into the dermis of the skin and will be approximately 0.1mm in width. The columns will stimulate the skin to regenerate and repair itself while closing rapidly enabling the skin to recover quickly.
The precision engineering of the eDermastamp™ medical device enables your practitioner to accurately control the treatment intensity as they are doing the procedure! They can adjust the needle depth and speed depending on the area being treated and the clinical condition of the skin.
The eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation procedure has a good comfort level and this will normally be made more so by your practitioner applying a topical anaesthetic to the treatment area before hand. Your practitioner will also normally apply a Dermaroller medi-grade, hyaluronic acid based skin hydrating and enhancing solution to the treatment area to help the sterile needle tip move smoothly over the surface of the skin. Alternatively, they may use the Dermaroller CIT Advanced Mesotherapy Solution to further enhance the procedure and treatment results.
After an eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation procedure your body will start to naturally regenerate and repair the skin, working below the surface in the dermis. This takes time as new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced. It can take up to six weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen and the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement.
Your practitioner will normally recommend that your eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation consists of a series of three eDS™Skin Rejuvenation procedures with approximately six weeks between them. Depending on your particular skin complaint, it may be necessary to increase the number of treatments required. Alternatively your practitioner may feel that a GD™ Skin Rejuvenation treatment using the Genuine Dermaroller™ medical device, either on its own or in combination with the eDermastamp™, may be the most beneficial course of action to achieve maximum results.
eDS™Skin Rejuvenation After Procedure Skincare
Immediately after your eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation procedure, you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will start to subside after one to two hours and will normally recover within the same day with only slight redness the following day. Your practitioner will apply a post procedure recovery cream and mask after your treatment to help soothe and calm the skin.
Application of high level sun protection is recommended after the procedure.
Continue to apply this on a daily basis for at least two weeks even during the winter or on cloudy days.
Use tepid water to cleanse the face until the redness has gone and dry gently. Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area. It is recommended that makeup is not applied for 12 hours after the procedure although your practitioner may be able to supply you with specialist mineral make-up that he or she feels would be suitable for use during this period.
In the days following your eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation procedure as the skin starts to regenerate and repair it may well feel drier than normal. Your practitioner will advise what specialist medi-grade skincare products they recommend you use to optimise your procedure.
Once the redness has cleared following an eDS™Skin Rejuvenation procedure, it is important that the skin is cared for on an ongoing daily basis with an effective anti-ageing regime. An effective regime will typically use medi-grade products to:
• provide protection from UV light
• protect and repair the skin from free radicals, DNA damage and glycation
• stimulate and regenerate ageing skin cells
Ask your medical aesthetic practitioner which products he or she would recommend for your skin.
Genuine Dermaroller™ Home-Care Epidermal Skin Rejuvenation uses the 0.3mm Dermaroller device. Used two to three times a week at home under the direction of your aesthetic practitioner, it will stimulate the epidermis and enhance the penetration of specific skin products, improving your anti-ageing skincare and achieving your goal of younger and healthier looking skin.
